Downed Road pre-school have been developing their sense of their local community by visiting the local park. The children showed an impressive knowledge of safety awareness and helped to risk assess their walk by looking out for things that might be dangerous and discussing how we can stay safe. The children sought their own challenges by trying out new equipment and taking new risks, safely. After all that exploring it was time for a well-deserved ice-cream!
