Bradley Stoke - Great Park Road
Welcome to our great Great Park Road Nursery! Our setting in Bradley Stoke was formerly Butterflies Day Nursery, but became part of the Mama Bear’s family in November 2014 and is our 20th nursery.
You can find us on Great Park Road and we are very near to Almondsbury Business Park, Aztec West and the M4/M5 junction. We are located perfectly to provide childcare to families in the Bradley Stoke, Little Stoke, Stoke Gifford and Almondsbury.
The nursery is very light and spacious throughout, with each of our age groups having fantastic, spacious, relaxing rooms to enable them to explore, learn and develop freely. The nursery team are enthusiastic and welcoming and build fantastic relationships with the children and families that use our facilities. We pride ourselves in our strong partnerships with parents as we believe this is paramount to support the children in making progress within their development. This supports the children to feel settled within the nursery very quickly. Partnership with parents will always be a priority at Mama Bear’s and we will work with you to ensure that we understand your child’s individual needs and find out how to best support their development.
The nursery is divided into spacious age-specific play rooms. The onsite kitchen provides healthy, balanced meals consisting of morning snack, two course hot lunch and afternoon tea. Our kitchen is regularly inspected by the Food Standards Agency and we have maintained the highest 5* rating. Fresh fruit and drinking water is available in rooms throughout the day for the children to help themselves to.
All of our rooms are open plan, with our under 2’s room benefiting from a separate sleeping area. The nursery has two purpose built gardens, one linked to the under 2’s and for the under 2’s only and the other for our Bouncies (2-3year olds) and Pre-school. In addition we have the benefit of a sensory garden which is currently being developed by the children and staff team. Outdoor learning is very important to us and we ensure children are able to access this for the majority of the day to ensure we ignite children’s imaginations and support their early development.
Throughout the day the children have independent access to a wide variety of resources and activities, tailored to meet their individual developmental stages. They are supported by their key person throughout the day to make progress in all areas of development, through a variety of adult and child initiated activities.
The nursery is open 7.30am-6.00pm (extended opening hours are available from 7.00am-7.00pm), all year round (excluding bank holidays and the Christmas Week).
Please feel free to pop in at any time to have a look and ask any questions.
