Where children have fun, learning

Weetabix sensory play at Barewell Road!

Our babies at Barewell Road loved their sensory play with Weetabix! They used the hammers to crush the Weetabix developing their fine motor skills. The children listened to the different sounds that the Weetabix made as they were crunched in the tray.

The babies stomped on the Weetabix and listened to the different sounds that were created. They took turns and developed our social skills with sharing during this task, building our confidence as we counted the Weetabix together.

Our Baby Room also enjoyed finding minibeasts in porridge oats, exploring the feeling of the oats in our hands and moving the minibeasts around the tray. They loved making the different noises of the minibeasts!
