Our Fort View nursery recently had a special delivery of duck eggs! Children got the opportunity to watch the eggs in the incubator before hearing cheeping sound from inside. Then very shortly after arrival the ducklings began to hatch! Once hatched they were all sticky and wet so children put the baby ducks under a brooder in their cage. All children took turns to hold the ducklings and feed them. Then children filled up the water tray and watched as the ducks swam around, which was really fun!
