Downend Road Pancake Day! We all had a delicious Pancake day, making and tasting pancakes together. The children discussed the sizes and shapes of their pancakes and made their own choices by choosing their own flavours, trying new things and telling the group about what they have at home and listening to one another about how we eat some things the same and some things we have are different. Jo our lovely cook, explained how she cooked the pancakes in the frying pan and the children were able to see and learn about the process from ingredients to cooking to eating.
