Bouncies and Pre-school at Downend Road have been exploring their senses and natural world through their interest of mark making, role play and bugs. The children have been exploring the outdoors and understanding about investigation, processes and changes in our environment. Pre-school have enjoyed watching the apples grow on our apple tree and have recently been able to pick them and taste them, they were delicious! The children have been using their imaginations to cook and make recipes and food in our mud kitchen, we have enjoyed mud tea’s, pancakes and mash potato! We have also created our own fires with sticks as well as mark making using clipboards outside with natural mark making tools such as sticks, bark and leaves.
