As it was Chinese New Year last week, our Fort View pre-school room set up a Chinese interest table for the children to explore. They looked at Chinese newspapers, tried using chop sticks, read through interesting Chinese books, listened to traditional Chinese music and also discussed where China was in the world using a globe! They then coloured special Chinese new year pictures and looked at how Chinese numbers are written.
