Our children at Mama Bear’s in Torquay recently enjoyed an Autumn Walk to Cary Park. The children talked about traffic, waiting, looking and road safety. They counted the cars and named the colours of the cars as they passed.

They talked about the size of the leaves on the ground that had fallen from the trees and enjoyed physical play on the slide, swings, see-saw and climbing frame.

Everyone worked together to search for conkers, leaves and twigs that had fallen from the tr...ees and collected them for our investigation trays and display boards.
