Team Leader
We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their next step in childcare. We are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader for our Yeovil nursery.
As team leader you will play a vital part in helping to inspire our children and motivate our staff within the room, exemplifying good practice and being a role model for others. You will ensure that children are safe, cared for and educated to the highest standard at all times.
You will be at least level 3 qualified with a relevant childcare qualification. It is important that you have a good understanding of the EYFS and have a minimum of 2 years experience in an early years setting. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will be passionate about delivering an exceptional standard of care, thrive in a team environment and have outstanding communication skills.
The role is 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary dependent on qualifications and experience. About Mama Bear's Yeovil - Abbey Manor Park
This Mama Bear’s is a lovely setting for children under 5. There are four different age-specific rooms reflective of children’s ages and stage of development, as well as two large gardens creating wonderful external play environment.
The 68-place day nursery and pre-school can be seen from Preston Road in the Abbey Manor Park area of Yeovil, however is only accessed on Houndstone Close. It has recently been refurbished and has excellent facilities for both the children and the staff. The staff room is in a separate building and offers staff a relaxed environment to enjoy their breaks and lunch times.
There are a limited number of staff parking spaces available on site as well as plenty of local public transport routes. Asda supermarket is across the road and there is a shopping district a few minutes walk away.
