Early Years Educator Level 3
Mama Bear's Day Nursery is currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly setting based in Pennycross, Plymouth. Our nursery was recently awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and we are on the look out for somebody who shares our passion for providing an exceptional standard of care.
This role is working Full time 40 hours per week. Candidates need to be qualified to a minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in a full and relevant early years qualification and have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken. About Mama Bear's Plymouth - Pennycross
As a 115-place nursery, this is one of the biggest Mama Bear’s settings and is an energetic and vibrant environment. There are a number of age-specific rooms over two floors, which are reflective of children’s ages and stage of development. The large outdoor space supports staff’s planning as there is plenty of room for a wide range of activities, ranging from a construction area, under cover playground and a giant pirate ship.
Our staff room has kitchen equipment and seating area, where staff can enjoy their breaks and lunch times. There is a local shop a few minutes walk away and local bus routes in close proximity. Parking is also available in the surrounding roads.
