Pre-schoolers walked to the local shops and chose some new herbs for their garden planters. They explored the herbs by rubbing the leaves between their fingers and decided which to buy based on the smells they liked.

They chose mint, oregano, lavender, thyme and even a grapefruit mint!

They then helped to plant them in the garden.
