Staff from both Springhill Green & Fortview nurseries attended a staff meeting to discuss areas of further development during this term. Discussed with Faye Lawlor about moving forward with EY Log and teething problems staff have had. She was able to guide staff on different issues that they had and areas they were not to sure about. Staff felt more confident in having a refresher on the EY Log update.

We also carried some different activities challenges. Staff sat in age groups and had case scenarios to discuss and work through looking at how they would deal with each individual and complete planning work sheet. They had resources in relation to each activity and discussed how to further extend or follow up, staff had a set time to discuss and write up on the worksheet. Senior staff sat and carried peer observation during this time on each group and fed back their findings once completed to all groups.
