Children at Pembroke Road have been making bread rolls!
We measured out all the ingredients and used our hands to knead the bread (a lot of muscle went into this!). The children were amazed to see our bread rolls had doubled in size after being left for about an hour before being put in the oven to cook. Once cooled, the rolls were iced and decorated by pre-school and shared amongst the whole nursery. All the children loved joining in with a sing a long of 5 currant buns!
