Our Yeovil nursery is celebrating after moving up from a ‘Good’ to an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating following its latest inspection!

Houndstone Crescent was rated outstanding in all areas including the effectiveness of the leadership and management; the quality of teaching, learning and assessment; personal development, behaviour and welfare; and outcomes for children.

The nursery has been praised for its ‘excellent’ teaching, ‘superb’ range of resources and ‘meticulous’ monitoring systems and children were noted as being extremely confident, self-assured and emotionally secure.

Our nursery manager Cathy, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded an outstanding rating by Ofsted. To move from a good grade to an outstanding grade signifies our commitment to providing the very best quality early education to our children and we’re so pleased all our hard work and commitment has been recognised."

"All the staff at the nursery have wonderful relationships with the children and it was great that the inspector noted that they give exceptionally high priority to children’s well-being and progress. The report also commented on staff making the most of indoor and outdoor resources to capture children’s curiosity at the highest level."
