Where children have fun, learning

Nursery Activities

All welfare and educational activities throughout the nursery follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which is the statutory governing document for childcare providers. We are regularly inspected to ensure we meet (or indeed exceed) the requirements of the EYFS by Ofsted, the Local Education Authority and the Health Authorities. You are welcome to view any of our inspection reports.

All our nurseries support free-flow play and help to develop children's confidence by encouraging them to choose the activities they want to engage in.

All activities are delivered through exploration and play, and our children benefit from a structured, safe and well resourced environment.

Nursery Activities - Babies

(3 months to 2 years)

Your baby’s day is organised to fit in with their needs and your routine. Babies have their own activity room and separate sleep room with access to outdoor facilities to aid their development and understanding of the world. We employ a high ratio of 1 staff to 3 babies, in line with Ofsted guidelines.  All staff caring for babies are specifically selected and trained to care for this age group.

Nursery Activities - Toddlers

(Children aged 2 years)

Each child is encouraged to develop their own pattern of eating, playing, socialising, and toilet training (using purpose-designed child-sized toilets, cubicles and hand basins). By developing their own routine in a safe and structured environment the child develops confidence, understanding and ability. When they start pre-school, they do so as confident learners.
